What's New at The Kids Craft Club?
Tuesday, 15 July 2008

Welcome to The Kids Crafts Club! We hope you find a variety of fun, printable children's crafts, coloring pages, food recipes and more. We specialize in holiday and seasonal crafts for kids. We also offer educational themes that make learning fun.

We are mid way through summer and sometimes this is when the boredom sets in. So, I have rounded up some great ideas to help you keep the fun going all summer long!

If you have a craft you would like to share with our community please submit it using our easy submission form.

Below is our current favorite craft idea!

Bubble Painting
Tuesday, 14 August 2007
What you Need:
3 Yogurt container
1 Straw
Dish detergent
White construction paper (The bigger the better!)
Green paint
Purple paint
Red paint
Warm water

What to Do:
1. Line up the containers.
2. Squeeze equal parts paint and dish soap into each one.
3. Pour a little splash of water into each. You don't want to add a lot, the paint will be too watery and the bubbles won't stay formed long enough for you to paint with them.
4. Stir one of the colors up completely with the soap and the water. Blow into the straw until you have bubbles coming up over the edge of the container. Remove the straw quickly and press the paper to the bubbles. You can repeat a few times before the bubbles begin to pop too quickly for you to use them. It looks good when you overlap the bubbles and the colors. Repeat this process with the other colors you have chosen to use.

Instructions:

1. Glue the eyes on the styrofoam ball (or paint them on)

2. Cut a small triangle from the black felt for a nose, glue on. (You may also use a bead for a nose)

3. Cut two small strips from the black felt for the eyebrows, glue on.

4. Cut a mouth (any shape you like) from the red felt and glue on.

5. Glue strips of yarn on the head of the face you have made for hair.
